  • The Phone2 mobile application (the "App").

When you create a Phone2 account, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from us related to account verification, service updates, call notifications, voicemail alerts, customer support, and other transactional purposes connected to your use of the Services.

This SMS consent is obtained during account creation and is used solely to support your Phone2 service experience.

2.1 Profile Information

When you register for a Phone2 account, we collect and store the following information:

  • Phone Number: To verify your identity and serve as your Phone2 user ID.

If you make a payment within the App or on our Site, we also collect:

  • Card Expiry Date: To process payments.

  • Notify other Phone2 users who have your phone number in their address book that you are a Phone2 user.

  • Conduct internal operations, such as troubleshooting, data analysis, and fraud prevention.

2.2 Address Book Information

  • Contact Names and Phone Numbers: To format phone numbers for international calls, display contact names during calls, and sync your contacts with the App.

We use this information to:

  • Notify you when your contacts become Phone2 users.
  • Indicate which of your contacts are already Phone2 users.
  • Improve our Services and conduct internal operations.

2.3 Usage Information

We collect the following usage information:

  • Call Details: Phone numbers, call duration, start time, call quality, and outages for billing and service improvement purposes.
  • Device and Connection Information: IP address, device capability, bandwidth, browser type, and referring website.
  • App Usage Data: Installed apps (on an anonymous basis), geolocation, and traffic to/from our Site or App.

We use this information to:

  • Improve our Services and fix bugs.
  • Prevent cheating, fraud, and illegal activities.

3. Google User Data (Google Contacts / People API)

Phone2 allows users to optionally connect their Google account to import their Google Contacts into the App. When you choose to connect your Google account, we access only the data you explicitly authorize.

3.1 Data We Access

Through the Google People API, we may access the following information from your Google account:

  • Your Google account basic profile (name, email)
  • Your Google Contacts, including:
    • Names
    • Phone numbers
    • Email addresses
    • Contact photos (if available)

We do not request or access any other Google data or scopes.

3.2 How We Use Google User Data

We use your Google Contacts solely to:

  • Display your contacts inside the Phone2 App
  • Help you initiate calls or messages to your contacts
  • Identify which of your contacts are Phone2 users

We do not use Google Contacts data for advertising, AI training, profiling, or marketing.

3.3 How We Store Google User Data

Imported Google Contacts are securely stored on our servers so they can sync across your devices. All Google user data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

3.4 How We Share Google User Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your Google Contacts with any third parties. We do not transfer Google user data except as required to provide core Phone2 functionality (e.g., showing contacts in the App).

3.5 Google User Data Deletion

You may remove your Google account connection at any time through the App settings, which immediately stops all future data collection.

Deleting your Phone2 account permanently deletes all imported Google Contacts from our servers.

3.6 Google Limited Use Requirements

Phone2's handling of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including all Limited Use requirements.

4. Sharing Information

We may share your information with third parties in the following circumstances:

  • With Your Consent: As described in this Policy.
